Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal
Founded in 1964, the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (MAC) was Canada’s first institution devoted exclusively to contemporary art. As it awaits the planned reopening of its museum at Place des Arts in 2028, it continues its activities at Place Ville Marie, where it held its very first exhibition in 1965.
The MAC is close to you.
More than a relocation campaign, a new way to put the museum in the spotlight. At Place Ville Marie, the lines of its emblem turn vertical to echo the architecture. Colour takes it from there: bringing the windows to life, defining the campaigns and giving each exhibition its own personality. An invitation to experience contemporary art in a new way.
