Kanuk

Founded in Montréal in the early 1970s by Louis Grenier, KANUK built its reputation on outerwear designed to withstand Québec’s harsh winters. Over the decades, the brand has distinguished itself through technical innovation and craftsmanship. Its emblem, the snowy owl, has become a recognizable signature, symbolizing protection and resilience. A Montréal legacy that now reaches far beyond Québec’s borders.

A legacy reimagined.

The wordmark becomes more refined, the snowy owl takes on cleaner, more contemporary lines, and the identity evolves with the seasons. KANUK’s winter universe is complemented by KANUK + O, a more urban and colourful expression designed for the transitional seasons, with orange as its signature colour. Two distinct personalities, one visual language, down to the smallest details of the garments. / In collaboration with Michel Lepage and Annie Horth, who led the brand’s creative direction.
